You’re right, it’s not funny. It’s satirical and dark (and mildly humorous in its portrayals). I’ve observed that people who find things such as Guryan’s, “devoid of intelligence,” are usually afraid of self analysis, which both stems from and perpetuates ignorance to the point that it becomes congenital.

The video is well done and the tune itself is surprisingly catchy but this is barely satirical. “The Bush administration said things that were untrue” is hardly a revelation. Perhaps the makers of this song should focus their efforts on the current situation in Iraq rather than flogging this dead horse.
