tThe people on the internet are hateful, not productive people who are critical of those who are actually attempting to make a positive difference in the world! You people would be benefited much more by actually listening to Huckabee for guidance and direction than to try and pick apart his each and every word. But the very fact that you are here, listening to him tells me that deep down you know what I’m saying is true. You are being inspired, even as you criticize the man.

Look at how boring this is compared to Ron Paul’s event at the convention. It was a PARTY!!!! This was a sermon from someone who doesn’t have a degree in theology as he claims. Google Huckabee’s Ethics and see how his son tortures dogs and gets away with it.

Mike Huckabee has more wisdom in his little finger than all the other candidates combined! This man had the vision and the past proven record of accomplishments, over a decade of service as governor of a democratic state where, by ALL accounts, he was a GOOD governor with approval ratings as high as 77%!!! Still has a 65% approval rating there!! He had to be doing something right!! Also re-elected til he was at max term. Many said they would LOVE to have him back!!!!

The Christian population in Iraq and Iran is higher now (and growing) than it was a decade ago. I do not agree that mass amounts of Christians are leaving Iraq and Iran. Where do u say they are going?
Sure our actions can generate anger/blowback but that does not mean that there would be not be anger over the US advocating freedom of people/religion in the UN or wanting to sanction Iran…these things could create blowback too. Blowback or not, we are still going to be a target.

I think a person can learn at any point in their life. I think the strong health of the state of Arkansas is a testament to either Huckabee’s ability to learn or to the abilites that he already had.

There are Christians, and people of other non-Islamic beliefs, living in Iran, Iraq, etc. They are now starting to leave at steadily increasing rate SINCE 2003. I wonder why this is? Could it be that our actions in the region generate blowback?

The CIA intel did not show Saddam to have WMD’s. Besides, if CIA agents had intentionally misinformed about WMD’s, it would been done to start the invasion. Correct? Any CIA intel, then, that goes counter to this must be considered by any anti-war argument.

Is this the same CIA that told president Bush that the WMD case against Iraq was a “slam dunk”? While I agree that they are mad at our support of Israel and want Israel 100% gone although if we didn’t support Israel, we would still have terrorist issues. There are terrorist attacks all the time on nations that don’t support Israel. They attack what is in their way and Huckabee knows that. What does an Arkansas preacher have to do with this? Huckabee as Governor is what he ran on.

That’s interesting. I don’t remember him ever using the word caliphate. I do, however, remember the quote of Khalid Sheik Mohammed on page 175 of the 9/11 commission report, in which he cites our support of Israel as the motivator behind the aggression. Sorry, I will take the CIA and FBI experts’ analysis of over that of an Arkansas preacher every time.

Your understanding of Huckabee’s position is false.
Huckabee says they attack because their religion calls for a world in which every nation is run by a caliphate. The nation-state leadership and the religious leadership must be 1 under their system. That is why no other religions are allowed in Muslim run nations.
You are right though, it isn’t because we are free or Christian that they want us dead, it’s because we stand in their way just like they kill moderate Muslims in their way too.

The extent to which …
The extent to which he was willing to pander is much more laughable than his jokes. Whether intentional or not, his mischaracterization of the root causes of terrorism should disqualify him from any leadership role at the national level.
